All of your makeup in one box? Jumblr Carry All Beauty Case it is!

  • Content 36 Eyeshadows, 12 Blushers, 4 Press Powders,
  • 6 Lip Colors, 2 Lipsticks, 3 Body Glitters,
  • 1 Mascara, 1 Eyeliner, 2 Lip Glosses,
  • 1 Shimmer Powder, 1 Mirrored Compact, and Applicators
  • Jumbl™ Brush and Mirror Included
This is one amazingly versatile, quite portable, all-in-one makeup kit. I am a big fan of it, and even though I wouldn't actually drag it along with me on a trip (it's definitely larger than most makeup kits I've seen), I still tend to reach for it quite often, mainly due to the pretty, nicely pigmented, long-lasting eye-shadows.

The eyeshadows definitely take the spotlight here. They're very natural looking, in both cooler and warmer tones and there's a nice variety of shades that can be blended together. There are some nudes, some really pretty blues, pinks and purples, and some foresty greens. Nothing too crazy, though. Mostly very pretty, toned-down colors that are just perfect for a more gentle, natural look.

The quality of the eyeshadows is definitely very good. I feel like it's even slightly better than in some other makeup kits from the same brand. They don't crumble as easily and can be applied with a brush. They're also buildable and long-wearing, though I still prefer to use primer underneath to bring out the colors. Some Jumblr cosmetics have this powdery, almost perfume like scent (which isn't unpleasant at all, it's just there), this set is fragrance free.

There are two lipstick (deep red and rich brown), 3 body glitters (fun!), some lip glosses (they're on the thicker, stickier side, but they're nice on top of your lipstick), a mini mascara (a last-resort type), a liquid eyeliner with a soft brush tip (pretty nice, actually!), some powders, bronzers and blushes (some are very nice while others are too orangey for my taste, but it's a nice variety) and some tools and applicators. There is even a powder bronzer in a separate container (very pretty and shimmery, golden color) and a carry-on, assemble-your-own mini eyeshadow palette.

It's all nicely packaged and very convenient to use. I really think this is a great starter kit for anyone getting into makeup, or even experienced makeup junkies looking to add something cool to their collection.

Portable and pretty: Jumbl Carry Cosmetics Kit with brush and mirror (Review)

  • 16 eye shadows 4 blushes 2 powder compacts
  • 3 lipsticks 1 mascara 2 cosmetic pencils
  • 2 applicators 2 brushes
  • Designed in USA
I really like this little makeup kit from Cameo/Jumblr ($14.95 on Amazon).

The eyeshadows selection is very nice and they're pretty decent. They're a bit shimmery, but not too sparkly. They're great for both daytime look and a date night. Quality wise, they are comparable to some drugstore brands. You do need to use a primer underneath, otherwise they're going to crease and slide right off. I tend to apply these with my finger rather than a makeup brush, because I find it makes less mess. If I use my brushes, quite a bit of the eyeshadow ends up on my cheeks. These eyeshadows are all nicely pigmented and blendable.

There are some nice blushes and powders included in this kit. They are easy to apply and very natural looking. Some are a bit too pale and chalky for me, but they work OK as highlighters.

There are also 3 lip glosses (nice colors, but not very long lasting, and - if applied directly onto your lips - they tend to be drying), a mini mascara (more of a last-resort kind of product, but nice to have as a backup), a dark red lip pencil (very pigmented and staining, stays on for a long time), a black eyeliner and a couple of applicators.

Overall, this is a pretty cool little kit. The packaging is neat and very portable. I think this is a good starter kit for beginners. I have used other products from Cameo/Jumblr, and they're all great quality.

I have my Alina review scheduled to go live very soon, so make sure to stop by and check it out. More reviews will be coming up soon, too.

Today I'd like to talk a bit more about one particular product I've been enjoying recently, and that is Fancy Pedicure.

This is a very effective, time-saving tool. I have been using this twice a week for 3 weeks now and I've noticed big improvement - the skin on my heels is much softer than it was to begin with. I've used regular foot sanders before, but they take a lot more time and effort. I'm a busy mom, I rarely have more than an hour per day for myself, and most of that time is dedicated to catching up on other important things anyways, so there's little to no time for personal grooming. That's why I love Fancy Pedicure. I can get the rough skin off in about 5-8 minutes time, without straining myself at all.

I find this tool works best on dry skin, so I use it before the evening shower or bath. Once the rough skin is sanded off, I make sure to give my feet a good soak. Then I add some nice moisturizing foot cream to make sure my skin stays soft longer. This has become my new routine and it really made my feet feel and look much better. I think I am ready to break out the flip-flops!

Overall, this is a very handy tool. It's super easy to use, you don't have to apply any pressure (in fact, if you do, it won't spin), you just hold it to your foot and let it do all the hard work for you. I was able to see the effects immediately, and my feet keep getting smoother with each use.

Nail Polish Doesn't Have to be Toxic: Introducing Void Beauty Brand!

Heads up mani-pedi lovers! There is a new cool cat in the nail polish department and they are bringing out the BIG GUNS!

Void Beauty is THE brand for environmentally conscious, eco-friendly women. This brand strives to provide non-toxic, cruelty-free, vegan friendly products that will look fabulously chic at the same time. I think they managed that just fine, wouldn't you say?

I received 3 samples of their brand new nail polish line: Golden Child, Rise & Shine and Rule or Die. And yes, they're just as fabulous as they look in the pictures. Everything - from the gorgeous bottle design, to the way these nail polishes wear - is simply spectacular.

I was probably the most excited for the Rise & Shine polish, but I must say it is the Rule or Die that, ultimately, became my absolute favorite. I mean, they are all beautiful. It wasn't easy to decide which one to try on first. I do find them all rather long-wearing (3rd day, still no chips!), but the deep, vivid red is just mesmerizing. I like the Rise & Shine, too, but being a busy mom, I don't usually have time for two coats of nail polish to dry, and this one does require two coats. Rule or Die does not!
Golden Child is so pretty! It's more of a natural, earthy shade that adds a very subtle finishing touch. I think these are all perfect spring and summer shades and I'm definitely going to be reaching for them often in the coming months.

Awesomely enough, these seem to dry even faster than my Miracle Gels and they have a very eye-catching glossy finish. They come off nicely and don't stain the nails. I think these are going to be a BIG HIT in the coming months and I'm thrilled to have been able to try them on early.

Void Beauty is a brand I can really get behind. I am looking forward to trying more of their polishes in the future!

Glow Mist from Pixi by Petra Review

Enriched with 13 natural oils plus propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts, the Glow Mist ($15) from Pixi by Petra is the stuff of dreams. Wet dreams.

I used it both before putting my makeup on and then on top of it, and it gave me such smooth, healthy feeling skin, I could not believe it. I have tried tons of skin-nourishing products, including organic argan oil, coconut oil, tamanu oil, vitamin c serum, vitamin e serum and a bunch of other crap that in the end did nothing but drain my wallet. THIS, however, really works.

I don't know how or why, but the formula is just perfect for my skin. The mist feels super refreshing and gives you this healthy, fresh, dewy look. You look rested and glowing. You look like a teenager in love. Or a teenager watching Vampire Diaries. Or me watching Dean Winchester do his thing. Or.. OK, you get the point.

When applied on top of your makeup, this magical mist helps set it and adds a nice finish. I use it a few times throughout the day to refresh my look, and just because it feels so good, it's addictive.

Is it worth the $$? Definitely. I was iffy, I won't lie. Even though $15 isn't awfully a lot, I wasn't sure if I was investing in the right thing or just throwing my money away, but I'm thrilled to tell you: this was one of the best decisions I made when it comes to my skin health. I would and will buy it again. And I do recommend you giving this a shot.

Ruinuo Jewelry Review & Contest

I recently got the opportunity to review some beautiful jewelry pieces from RUINUO. They have some really stunning stainless steel jewelry pieces and I was thrilled to be able to wear some of them! I love that they are so modern looking and that they don't cause any skin irritation. They're also extremely well designed and durable.

Today I get to share my reviews of the four jewelry pieces I received and host a contest for you! If you like Ruinuo's cool designs, be sure to enter the giveaway! :)

Really cool jewelry piece! I absolutely love the design - the combination of the cross symbol with the star constellation of a zodiac sign is pretty neat and unique. The pendant is pretty large (2.16 x 1.22 inch) and seems very durable, but not too bulky. It comes with a resizable chain and a black strap, which is a very cool alternative for men.

The pendant is made out of stainless steel and titanium, and it doesn't cause any skin irritation. The cubic zirconia stones represent stars in a zodiac constellation (in this particular case it is Cancer zodiac). I think this is a very well-thought-out, modern design that will appeal to a wide variety of people. This would definitely make a great and meaningful gift.

Be Mind Series Bracelet

This is another beautiful piece of jewelry from Ruinuo. I am absolutely in love with their jewelry - they are all extremely well made, durable and modern looking. This bracelet is no exception.

This bracelet is very shiny, especially in the sun! The design is simple, yet very chic and eye-catching. The bracelet is very comfortable to wear. There are no hard edges so it doesn't catch on clothes or hair. It comes with a bonus polishing cloth, which is very neat! It's on the thicker side (definitely not flimsy!), but it doesn't feel heavy or bulky.

Overall, I like this bracelet a lot and would recommend it to anyone who likes their jewelry modern and unique.

"Forever Love" Cubic Zircon Necklace for Lovers

This set of couple necklaces is an awesome modern spin on the "two halves of one heart" jewelry. Made out of stainless steel and embellished with gorgeous cubic zirconia stones, it's a real crowd pleaser. My husband doesn't like wearing any type of jewelry and it's nearly impossible to get him to wear a necklace, but he actually really loved this design and its beautiful and meaningful message. We just had to swap the chain with a little less flashy one!

I really like the look of this set. It has a certain warmth to it. The "Forever Love" message is very special and I love how the bigger pendant kind of embraces the smaller one, keeping it close and safe - much like a man protecting his loved one.

The chains seem pretty durable and the overall quality of this set is really amazing.A lot of thought went into this design for sure, even the packaging is very nice.

"Hope" Cubic Zircon Necklace for Lovers

This is my new favorite necklace - so gorgeous looking, shiny and extremely well made!
The design is very unique and I love that it is both so elegant and modern at the core. It's very eye-pleasing and I love how shiny the stainless steel and the cubic zirconia is.

Both the pendant and the chain look very feminine and delicate, but in fact they are super sturdy. Just like the other jewelry pieces from Ruinuo, this necklace is made out of stainless steel and so it doesn't cause any skin irritation at all. The chain's length is just perfect and the lobster clasp is easy to use (not one of those super flimsy ones!).

Pixi by Petra Ultimate Beauty Kit Second Edition Review + Swatches

I've been hearing and reading so much about the Pixi brand, it was only a matter of time until I'd go on a makeup buying spree. And whatdya know, I did.
And yes, I did some damage, but it was SO WORTH IT!

I bought three products (now would be the time to applaud my ability to restrict myself): The Ultimate Beauty Kit Second Edition (managed to snatch the last in stock for only $17!! It was originally $34!), the famous Glow Mist and the Tinted Brilliance Balm in Magnific Mauve

For the record, I have no regrets.

Just look at this baby.
Everything - from the carefully designed (and convenient, 3-fold) packaging to the contents of this beauty kit is simply stunning.

There are 30 cool and warm eyeshadows (some more shimmery than others, but all beautiful), 6 heavenly highlighters and 6 cheek blushes

The eyeshadows are definitely on the more natural looking, almost nude side (aside from a couple blue and purple colors). Some are more pigmented than others, but here's the awesome thing: you can build them up to achieve the desired look. They don't crumb, they don't crease, they are very blendable and just all around amazing to use. This, in my opinion, is just the perfect palette for spring and summer. You can pull of a very breezy spring look with some of the lighter shades, or go all out on the bolder colors. There are quite many combinations here and I am just so excited to explore them all.

I also love to the fact that these eyeshadows, blushes and highlighters are all infused with vitamin E. They definitely go on a bit smoother than most of my other eyeshadows, and they give you this really fresh, energized and luminous look. You will look (and feel!) like a freaking fairy.

Oh, and they stay in place. I did use the Glow Mist on top, so it might be due to that, but my makeup did not budge a millimeter all throughout the day.

Here are three very different looks I achieved with this palette:
